A Journey of 100 Blogs
Today marks a special day for this blog. This is my 101st blog. I’ve published 100 blogs in the past 11 months.
It’s been quite a journey.
I’ve learned a lot. Made a lot of mistakes. Learned new things. Met some incredible people.
I’m grateful for you taking the time out of your day to read my blog.
It means a lot to me.
While I’m not going to write a “7 lessons I’ve learned” blog, I still think it’s appropriate to write a special blog post to celebrate this feat.
In celebration of publishing 100 blogs, I thought it would be appropriate to talk about the past and future of this blog.
Let’s dive in.
The past
The past 100 blogs have been a roller coaster. I’ve written about several different topics.
These topics range from mindset to music and from productivity to weight loss.
I tend to write about different topics.
But they all connect back to one thing: self-improvement.
Everything I’ve written about on this blog relates to giving you tips, insights, and sharing experiences that can help you create a happy, thriving life.
Self-improvement is much more than meditation and cold showers. Most self-improvement content you see online is garbage. They over-hype the benefits of certain self-improvement activities. They advocate for unrealistic and unenjoyable lifestyles. The “grindset” isn’t cool. You should get your work done and then live your life. Working all the time is counterproductive at best.
My content in the past has aimed to show you how to make self-improvement work for you. The easier it is to do things, the more likely you will do them. So, lowering the barrier to entry is one of the most important elements of self-improvement. Yet, most people overlook this element.
The future
The content I’ve got planned for the future is a continuation of what I’ve already written about. I’m going to keep writing about different topics and relating them to self-improvement. I’m going to write about things I’m interested in. Things I’ve learned. And things I’m learning about.
You’ll continue receiving actionable content you can apply to your own life. You’ll keep hearing about my experiences and what you can learn from them.
I’m interested in writing more about the importance of exploration and adventure. These two concepts have made my life more fun and interesting. The thing is, you can have fun and still pursue your habits, work, etc. Yes, there will be times when life is tough or boring. But life should be fun.
As they say, “Work hard, play hard.” I live by this motto. And I hope you live by this too.
I haven’t decided what specific topics I’m going to write about yet. I know I’m going to write about my life experiences, so perhaps you’ll hear more about my experiences playing music.
Wrapping up
As always, if you have any topic recommendations, please leave them in the comments below. I take every recommendation into consideration. The recommendations I’m most interested in exploring will get turned into blogs.
I’m excited to see where the future of this blog takes us. 100 blogs down, many more to come. Stay tuned.
Thank you for reading!
